Displaying a ferry boat filled with passengers of different professions and social background, in the foreground porters walking or resting and a pack horse along the river bank with jakago, all in fine iroe-togidashi on a black ground with shallow waves and cloud banks in fine gold dust sprinkling. Signed Tatsuke Jōshō ga (or kaō) and seal in red lacquer. Bone or plastic ojime.

5-tlg. Allseitig Schwarzlack. In feinem, farbigem togidashi ein Fährboot mit zahlreichen Passagieren, das sich über beide Seiten des inrō zieht, im Vordergrund am teilweise mit Körben befestigten Ufer gehende und sich ausruhende Lastenträger und ein schwer bepacktes Pferd. Innen nashiji und fundame. Bein- oder Kunststoff-ojime.
