L&M-552; K-488; Y-183a.2; WS-0482. Large characters, "CAINDARINS". Long Chia in date characters. Stands alone as the finest graded at PCGS, with a pair at NGC at this level and none finer. Slight unevenness to the strike, but with no breaks to the luster seen anywhere on the coin. Light champagne tone with a weak pink tinge evenly coating the surfaces, with slightly darker coloration in the protected areas of the dragon providing a lively contrast to the design elements. The degree of preservation is extraordinary, a coin that clearly was set aside in 1904 and has remained totally undisturbed since then. PCGS MS-64 Secure Holder.
