Great Britain 1929 Postal Union Congress control number blocks of eight MNH: ½d K29 x 10, 1d K29 x13 (plus a block of six), 1½d K29 x9, 2½ blue K29 x9 and 2½d pale blue L29. The 1d blocks include two broken wreaths (SG.spec.NCom6d, cat. £200 each as hinged) and seven of the 'CO' joined variety (NCom6e, cat. £225 each as hinged). These have remained in a glassine envelope for nearly a century. Three 1½d stamps have a rust spot, otherwise no blemishes. Cat. over £5,400 as hinged control singles, hinged varieties and never hinged basic singles.
