Christa Dichgans, 1940 Berlin - 2018 ibid, studied at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin, in 1966 she came to New York with a scholarship from the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes, then settled in Rome, since 1972 in Berlin and in the South of France; 1984-88 assistant to Georg Baselitz; since 1967 numerous exhibitions, one of nine artists in the exhibition "Power Up - Female Pop Art in Vienna".
