Prachtvoller Handeinband des katalanischen Buchbinders Jordi de la Rica, der den Symbolismus des späten 19. Jahrhunderts und das von Baudelaire eingeleitete Lebensgefühl des Fin-de-Siècle in die Formsprache der 20er-Jahre überträgt. Die sinnlich-düsteren Illustrationen von Xavier Guell ergänzen die Lyrik des Verdrusses und der Dekadenz. - OUmschlag miteingebunden. Seiten teils etwas kntterspurig und mit Abklatsch der Illustrationen. Erste und letzte Seiten leicht stockfleckig. Insgesamt gutes Exemplar in kunstvollem Einband.

In marbled slipcase. - Splendid hand binding by the Catalan bookbinder Jordi de la Rica, who transfers the symbolism of the late 19th century and the fin-de-siècle attitude towards life introduced by Baudelaire into the formal language of the 1920s. The sensual, sombre illustrations by Xavier Guell complement the poetry of exasperation and decadence. - Orig. wrappers bound in. Pages partly a little bit creased and with offset of the illustrations. First and last pages slightly foxed. Overall a good copy in an artistic binding.
